Is there anyway to check what size i converted a previous document to?

Any time you convert a book the settings used are saved and will be re-used for the next conversion unless you tell Calibre to not use them. Therefore you can always bring up the conversion dialog for a book and examine the settings - they will be what was used last time if the book was previously converted.
