The Luck of the Weissensteiners - Christoph Fischer (Potential formatting error?!)

Has anyone read The Luck of the Weissensteiners by Christoph Fischer?

It's been a book on my to read list for a little while and glady noticed it was up for free one day a couple of weeks ago, however, when I came to read it, the formatting/margins were well off, therefore, the text was right down the middle of the screen. I have no idea what's happened but cannot seem to find in any review on Amazon (UK and US) to confirm the above.

I have a Kindle Keyboard and it appears to be the same on my wife's Kindle Touch. Can anyone help please?

I downloaded the sample to my PW and yes, the margins are very wide, roughly 15cm each with the margins set at their smallest. Do you have have the margin setting on your Kindle at the default setting (words per line: fewest, fewer, default are the options I think)? If so, it looks like that's the best you'll get.

I'm sure there will be a way to edit the .css of the book to fix the margins, but I don't know anything about doing so, maybe someone else can advise on that possibility?

Tell Amazon about it. The publisher needs to fix it. There's an option on the Amazon site for reporting content error.

Thanks for checking! I have them at default. Yeah, I don't really want to mess with margins. I've seen you can do it though!

No, you can simply update it from the "Manage Your Kindle" page.

I've got updated versions of lots and lots of Amazon books over the years. Never had that problem.

How long does it usually take once an issue/error has been submitted? Days, weeks, months?

However long it takes the publisher to fix it and resubmit it. It can be a couple of weeks; it can be never.
