Is it possible to save new cover into PDF?

I have updated my Calibre library books with meta data and covers. I would like to save the new cover as the cover for my PDF files that I need to export to a Bibliographic software that does not support sidecar files.

I have tried but cannot seem to locate a solution to this problem. HELP

I'm quite sure that this has been answered by Kovid in the past and the answer has always been not possible in calibre.
