7 inch tablet request

Which tablet is everyone looking at that comes with cell capabilities?

I have been looking at the Nexus 7 at Google for $349.

I have the Paperwhite, so it won't be for reading. I also have the iPad Mini but am looking for a tablet for DH.

Any opinions?

Cell service in the US or??? 3G okay or are you looking for 4G/LTE??? Any particular carrier compatibility?

Looking at the websites for the top four US carriers it doesn't look there are tons of options in the 7"ish range...

T-Mobile...
Nexus 7
iPad Mini w/Retina
iPad Mini

Sprint...
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3
iPad Mini w/Retina
iPad Mini

Verizon...
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 refurb
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2
Verizon Ellipsis 7
iPad Mini w/Retina
iPad Mini

AT&T...
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3
iPad Mini w/Retina
iPad Mini

Now I know there are more cellular capable tablets available than what are listed from the carriers, but having never shopped for one I've no idea what else is out there. Of the ones I saw listed the Nexus 7 (2013) & iPad Mini w/Retina would have the best screen ppi, but it all depends on what all it'll be used for. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is popular in some circles if you don't mind the lower resolution screen.
