Play Store weirdness

I am using a Nook HD+ running CM10.2. I noticed a couple of weird occurrences with Play Store. When I try to install an app I get a message that says the app will be installed shortly but it never is. The second problem is that if I uninstall an app Play Store still lists it as installed and will not allow me to reinstall it. Also, my Play Store app icon disappeared from my app drawer. Any help or suggestions?

Are you sure you installed the right version of gapps? It would be the 0813 build from this page: http://goo.im/gapps

Is this a fresh install of CM, or was it stable for a while and suddenly developed problems?

The gapps build is correct but my Playstore icon disappeared from my app draw a couple of weeks ago (why?). Also, I usually download from iamafanof.wordpress.com through goo.im but it doesn't work now - it doesn't download the complete file, either the ROM updates of gapps. I've never had these problems before and I can't figure out what's wrong. I'm close to trashing my setup and starting all over. Frustrating.
