Introduction

Hello Everyone,

My name is Ken, I have had my Cybook for just over a month and love it. I had to get a eBook reader because I have run out of room for the dead tree versions. If I want to continue to get books, I needed to start purchasing the electronic versions.

Hi KenFisher:

Welcome to MobileRead.

I have two Sony PRS-500s, but I LUST after a Cybook (blame a guy on this site named HARRY! ).

As you get to know your Cybook, please post some comments and let us know what you think of your new reader, regarding any positive and/or negative features.

Also, what kind of ebooks do you like to read?

Don

Hi Ken and welcome to the Forum. I got a Sony 505 back in January largely for the same reason you're getting a Cybook. Be sure and let us know how you like it

Thanks for the welcome. I have not had any issues with the Cybook. I have found that I am going to limit the number of books I have on the memory card to about 100 books just to speed up navigation on the library pages.

I will really get a feel for the device next month as I am helping my mom to drive to Atlantic Canada, and on the flight back. Also I showed the Cybook to one of my coworkers that travels alot and she said that I would have to keep an eye on it when it was in the office, otherwise she might "borrow" it from my desk. Luckily from me, she got her own Cybook as a birthday gift.

Most of my collection of books are science fiction and thrillers. I have been getting the books from Baen since 2000, so I already had 375 books for loading onto the Cybook when I got it.
