Single-click subscription?

I did it again - clicked Subscribe to a thread, then closed that tab and had to open it again to click the button to confirm the subscription. I'm on a bunch of forums (they use a different forum software) that have a single-click thread subscription, which I find really useful.

I realise that this forum software may not have that option available, but I'm just throwing this into the ring in case.

Thanks mods for all the work you do.

Since the software used on this forum will be changing in the future, maybe that is one feature that comes along with it.
