Adding Metadata by Google Books and Amazon URL

Hi,

I am new to calibre.
Is it possible to add metadata, just by adding the URL of google books and Amazon. And software will take all the information from the URL page.

Both of those are built in metadata sources, you just need to take the time and configure Calibre to fit your needs.

Thanks for the reply.

I am using this option already.
Problem is that, some times it shows book data not available.
But the details are available in google books website and I know the URL of it.

If I know the URL, then is there any automatic process.

You have differing metadata already entered from the book you found.

One of them is wrong

ID values specify a specific version of the book. clear those to retrieve ANY versions metadata
