I love my Mini. It's a little expensive here, though. But the pic of the white with the black border, I like!

I like the white with the red. The attraction is the easy pay option - very useful if you don't have the cash at the moment to buy it or if you don't have credit cards for one reason or another.

Xanthe, thanks for posting this. I've been interested in the mini (wish I'd got one when they were $40 a while back) and this deal looks good since it includes a case. But I can't tell from the pics what the case looks like. Can anyone help? TIA

I didn't realize it comes with a case. That makes it a much better value. However, the only place I see "case" mentioned is in the title. I suggest anyone who wants one of these to contact QVC and clarify if there is a case, or just a snap back, or a silicone type thing.

You're welcome, wandalynn. I was wondering about the case issue too. Just from the image I'm guessing it's a silicone backing. There is a tab in that link I provided for the presentation video, maybe that explains it. Actually, it's not a bad price at all, considering the Mini is $60 on the Kobo site, and that case is $20 extra there. (I keep telling myself that I don't NEED it because my PRS-350 fills that niche...) Last edited by Xanthe; 11-02-2013 at 01:48 PM. |

Thank you, yes, the video confirms the 'case' is the soft touch cover. My 5" Aluratek Libre needs frequent recharging, this just might do as a replacement.

Well that is nice to have, any case ads bulk to the Mini. The soft touch shell would make it easy to grip. (I almost dropped mine last month, reading it without the case).

The Kobo Mini is a great little reader. I am thinking of getting one or two for some presents. Thanks for the link.

You can't used easy pay unless you have a credit card. What QVC does is charge the card in the specified number of monthly installments.

I don't have a credit card, per se. What I do have is a debit card that's tied to a checking account, so I don't have to have the full price of the item in my account, just the monthly payment amount, and the Easy Pay amount is automatically deducted. You can also use Easy Pay if you have a Bill Me Later line of credit.
