Question Error when sending ebook

Hi.

I use Calibre 1.8.

I try to send a DRM-free ebook via the internal email-function to a friend.
But I see this error:

Code:
calibre, version 1.8.0
FEHLER: Nicht abgefangener Fehler: <b>ValueError</b>:too many values to unpack

calibre 1.8 Portable isfrozen: True is64bit: False
Windows-7-6.1.7601-SP1 Windows ('32bit', 'WindowsPE')
32bit process running on 64bit windows
('Windows', '7', '6.1.7601')
Python 2.7.5
Windows: ('7', '6.1.7601', 'SP1', 'Multiprocessor Free')
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\device.py", line 1192, in dispatch_sync_event
ValueError: too many values to unpack
Could anybody help?

Thank you
BeSt

Make sure the email address or name you are sending to does not have the colon ( : ) character in it.

Oh, wow! You are right.
I had the colon in the subject...

"Books for you... :-)"

No I removed the smiley and everything works fine.

THANK YOU!
