Can't vote yet but looking forward to December when I'll be able to. Can't believe my pre-order is going to take that long. I'll have forgotten that I pre-ordered by then!

It's a great device if you don't have to exchange it 6 times because of defective screen problems.

I like the new capacitive multi touch screen feature the most.

Returned three times in the space of a week. Not satisfied. Purchased HD instead.

Very happy with mine. I love the form factor, weight and the ability to customise fonts and play nicely with Calibre. My ideal reader would be a non lit device with a white screen and black text under all lighting conditions - sunlight, dull winter days indoors and artificial lights, just like paper - but until the technology is able to make such a device, for me the Aura is the best option.

It took awhile to get it from Kobo, and their communication was poor, but now that I have it, I am very pleased with the device. I have not used the frontlight much, but the few times I have needed to, I found it to be a very nice feature. Seems to be a solid piece of hardware.

Mine arrived in perfect shape, and I love the form factor. My only issue is slightly immature software. If I had to give Kobo any suggestions, it would be to make sure that the software becomes out-of-this-world stable.

Thanks for ansewring the poll. For those of us on undecided on the Aura, this gives us a good look at how good the Kobo Aura experience may be. On this forums, you usually only see the negative comments and bugs; not the overall picture. Thanks.

3rd time was a charm for me, first 2 had black spots\pin hole light issues and so were returned. Well worth the hassle though as the no full refresh until chapter is simply amazing as is the form factor, Just need a nice sleep case now, 3rd party ones I feel your presence nearing =)

Wow, those poll results are completely surprising to me. From reading the forums I would have expected the results to be reversed . It's obvious that a vocal minority is making the Aura seem a lot worse than it is. Not that I don't feel for those people who have had problems and terrible experiences or make light of them but it is obvious that they are the unfortunate minority.

I should start a pole asking "How many times did you have to return your Aura?" It would also be interesting to know how many settled with one that had only a couple of pin holes.

I purchased my Aura at Indigo last week, took it home, opened the box, charged it, set it up and so far haven't had any issues. After reading the complaints in this forum, I asked at Indigo and so far returns on the Auras are around the same level as any other electronic item.

I love the new Aura and I think it's the best device on the market currently. The only problem that people are reporting aren't the device but the quality control. It's either a bright spectacle gleaming on the screen or lights are leaking around the borders. If you're lucky you will get a perfect Aura with no defects. It took me 6 tries to get a perfect one. The manager at Chapter even open the boxes and on site to check for defect before I even walk off the store. The managers didn't even give me a hard time because the proof is right in front of them.

The question we should be asking is how many times did you return the Aura to get a perfect one out of the box.
