Calibre Ebook Viewer Same Page on Right and Left Column in Two Page View

Dear Fellow Users,
I've a problem with calibre ebook viewer and I believe some of you might have faced it to,

I've been searching for past 3 hours to fix it but I was not successful in finding any solution please forgive me if it is a duplicate
I came across following to threads but it did not fixed my problem.

When I choose 2 columns per page, only 1 page is flipped after turning the page, e.g. it is displayed page no 1 & 2, next turn is page no 2 &3 instead of page no 3&4.

I'm using arrow keys to turn pages

I think the following screenshots will better explain my problem.

Use page down and page up instead to turn screenfullsof pages.

Thank you very much sir it worked,
But I think it'll be easy if I can change the shortcut for pgup and pg down to arrow keys.

Also the forward and backward animation is different,
the backward animation is more smoother than the forward animation,
Is it possible to change the animations?

Have you looked in the viewer's Preferences->Keyboard shortcuts, there are a number of customisable shortcuts related to scrolling.
