How to disable deleting comments for Sony readers?

Hi. Suddenly, I found this very inconvenient function. How to disable? Thank you.

You cannot disable it, the comments are removed because the SONY readers ten to crash if comments are present. If you really want to have comments, go to preferences->plugins and disable the sony device interface plugin then use the connect to folder function in calibre to send books to the device. However, that will cause you to lose other functionality like collections.

This has nothing to do with annotations, it refers to the [b]comments[/b[ metadata in calibre.

You are right. This is my error - I was used to in the metadata in the comment field to insert the annotation. Be better if it were aliens...
