Open question for any Kobo Representatives on this forum.

Did you redesign you web site to make it almost impossible to use deliberately? Or are the people who did the design just plain do not know what they were doing.

A drop-down list that is NOT EVEN LABELED is not professional or very customer friendly.

Following often expressed conventional wisdom as to Kobo motives, it seems Kobo might have decided that authors don't want people to buy their books.

Oh well, Kobo is just doing what they think the authors want. Standard operating procedure. Someone else will have to offend them by selling their books.

Personally, I find it fairly obvious. There is a person icon near the top right. I can't think of any other use for that other than for it to be related to being logged in or not. Clicking on it shows options depending on whether I am signed in or not. And the colour of the icon changes to show the status. I'm not sure if I agree with the colours chosen and there should be a tooltip for when I put the cursor there, but it works well for me and doesn't clutter up the screen.
