One Library - 2 People - 2 Computers

Hi. My friend and I share a library of books. Right now its frustrating as heck because I manage the library and then send books to her and she has to add it to her library. We do have a drive we share. Is there a way to put the library there and then have hers automatically update when she opens Calibre?

I have a similar situation and would LOVE to know if calibre can be set up to auto-update a library from a specified source.

Sharing of Libraries is a possible Copyright violation.

Don't expect Calibre to make this kind of sharing easy.

Save the Calibre Library in a Dropbox account and either share with her dropbox account or just sync your account to both computers (with the dropbox app). When you make changes to the library it syncs to dropbox and the other computer.

This is how I keep my ebooks on my Phone updated
