I did not expect you to build this thing, just based on my comment about scrubbing dangling commas from KUAL button Jason files.

Let me think for a moment "out loud" (I don't want to trigger your 'build it' reflex) . . . .

dos2unix + jq + xslt should be able to "fix" and/or "update" Kual button configuration files from any prior state to any new state, forever.

Maybe link them all together and call the result: KUAL MungeIt ?
