Aura Inside the New Aura?

Hey all, saw this on the FCC website.

Thought I would share it with you all so that you can have a look inside the New Aura. Share your insights and what you think.

very nice view of the battery, so I guess it could be replaced?

Probably you are right it could be replaced. The drawback would be how good the double sided tape is that keeps it in place.

The Glo and Touch have the battery attached in a similar way. And there have been a few comments on how hard well the tape holds. But, there were also a few reports that the battery came loose for one of the devices.

does anyone know what the SanDisk"thing" is?

SanDisk make USB sticks and SD cards. My Glo has one for the internal memory. I didn't see a mention of SanDisk. Where is it?

if you look at the pictures, on the circuit board there is a square "thing" with SanDisk written on it - it is most visible in the second picture on the second page of the internal photos:

You must magnify the picture, it is on the horizontal portion, with what looks like a white dot on it. Since I had the dot on the internal card on the Mini, I thought that might be some kind of flash memory.
