Interesting concept, but too bad we can't really tell much about it from that presentation. I thought it was strange that it seems to have a cable that plugs into the Mini's lightening port. Not sure why it would do that. An eInk display should not require much battery but as thin as the case cover is it might be using the Mini's battery to power itself. That would be a bad thing as it ties up the lightening port.

Looks uncomfortable to hold, since you would want to really fold it back, but then you'd expose the iPad screen to fingerprints, scratches, etc.
This would be better implemented on a closed iPad cover, so flipped onside out? |
