After conversion from MS word, document has issues

Hi everyone. I have just converted from MS word and it looks cool but has a few issues.
1. There is now another table of contents at the back of the ebook.
2. Some of the words at the end of the line are broken. for example: broken becomes broke n / br oken / b roken.
3. I have one issue where there is a paragraph break in the middle of a sentence.

Please help!!! How can i solve these issues?

What is the conversion input file type - .DOC, .DOCX, .RTF, .HTM, ODT ... ?

What is the conversion output file type - EPUB, MOBI, AZW ... ?

Re item 3, are you sure there's not a paragraph mark - i.e. a '¶' - when you look at the sentence in Word.

When using Word - activate the paragraph symbol to see if you have returns where you shouldn't - that's usually the case...

(like the previous poster mentioned)
