I have a Glo WWYD?

Hi,
I have a Kobo Glo and I am pretty happy with it. My husband would like to get a gift for me and I am trying to choose between the Aura and the Aura HD. I just can't figure out which one to get. I have even considered purchasing a Kindle PW2 just to check it out.(but IMHO..the Kobos seem to be a better choice.) I just wonder which one has the better screen and specs.

Reading tendencies:
I don't normally view pdf's on my readers but...you never know.
I do tend to get a bit of blurry vision after a long reading session.
I read for atleast two hours each night before bed.(novels and fanfiction)

Which one would you choose?

Well....considering that the Kobo website shows the Aura HD currently out of stock I guess that is not a consideration anymore.

Unless it is imperative that you order it right this minute, I might wait a bit and see what folks who have the new Aura have to say about it. I have the Aura HD and can't imagine going back to a 6 inch screen. I am expecting all the new features to show up on the HD eventually.

This is one that probably comes down to screen size, touch type and weight. Like Taming, I wouldn't want to give up my bigger screen of the Aura HD. However, it is just enough heavier to be noticeable. The HD also has IR touch rather than capacitive touch. Some people have preferences between those.
Personally I have the HD and the primary reason I won't get the Aura 6" is not wanting to go back to a small screen.

Totally agree! I love the extra screen real estate of the Aura HD, and the new bar for me has been set with this device!

I'd wait until people have them in hand and are able to offer comment... Some of the questions that come to mind are:

Is the new Aura capacitive touch screen a better implementation? Is there glare? Is the 6" screen any better than your 6" Glo? Is the 7" Aura HD worth the weight/size trade off for you? Is the new lighter higher contrast screen of the Kindle PW2 better? Are there any bugs with either brand that are showstoppers for you? Is the new Pocket implementation good?(Do you care?)

Maybe that's over analyzing, but I avoid a fair amount of buyer's remorse that way.
