Hello all
I am retired in the British Isles and am currently taking an extended holiday in SE and East Asia.
Previously I bought a Sony 500 in the USA last year from Borders, but only found out much later that users have to be US residents (or at least have US registered credit card) in order to buy further books; so when the vouchers ran out no more books can be bought from Sony Connect. I shall be watching the posts with interest since I shall be visiting Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan on this trip. So if anyone has addresses of eBook reader manufacturers of imminent juicy product launches in these places maybe I can get some sense out of them - like deliveries and prices for instance. Standing in reception usually gets results! I have local language speaker contacts in all these places.

Hi Barrance and welcome to Mobile Read!
I'm not sure if you know it already but there are plenty of sources apart from the Sony eBook store that sell books for your Sony Reader. You don't need a US credit card for these. Even if you only read the free ebooks in the public domain, there is enough to last a lifetime.
