Unhappy Calibre error
Hi!
When I try to send epub to my Kobo Aura, with Calibre, the first book is OK, but the second one gives me this: COMMUNICATION ERROR WITH THE DEVICE

This happens with any version of the program, currently use the 1.3
The Aura is updated to 2.8.1 with installed Nigth mode

It gave me the same problem the Kobo Glo, but after a reset and upgrade to 2.8.1 the problem disappeared.

any ideas?

Use a different usb cable/port or a different computer and try resetting the device. That error means there is a problem with the usb connection.

PS. the device is Kobo Aura HD

Tested with another pc with linux mint, no problem. The problem still with Win XP, I did reset the aura, I tried with another usb cable on different port.but...send first book...ok,the second one... error

There seems to be some indeterminate issue with the combination of calibre, XP and Kobo. Numerous people have had similar issues and the common item in all cases has been XP.
