Sycing books with Kindle and Kindle App

Hi i have a kindle 4 and also have an android tablet, i have put my own books (not amazon ones) onto my kindle using calibre but how do i get my books onto my kindle app and get them to sync

The easiest way is to email the books to your Kindle and then they will be available on your Kindle and all the Apps (except Web) and will sync last page, notes, bookmarks...

UPDATE: you will also need to make sure that Archive is enabled in Personal Document Settings on Amazon's Kindle Settings Page

thank you, are archived books amazon ones which i do have too stored on your device too as i dont want to use all my space on my kindle or are archived stored somewhere else

Archived items are items in Amazon's "cloud" storage which are NOT stored locally on your device.
