screenshot and reset

I like the idea of using the power button to take a screenshot (with the line "Screenshots=true" in the Kobo_eReader.conf file), but I wonder whether that would prevent me from doing a factory reset or anything to do with the power button should things go wrong for any reason. Does anybody know?

Keeping the light button pressed while pressing the reset button results in a factory restore on the Kobo Aura.

So how does one normally do a factory reset on a Mini?

If the device is unresponsive, you do a pinhole reset while sliding the power button as if you were powering on or off, and keeping it like that for 10 seconds. This is why I worry it won't be possible if the screenshot function is activated, as it uses the power button.

On my Aura, when I had it set to power off, the power button worked to power it on even with the screenshot functionality enabled. Playing with the power button while it was loading, the screenshots functionality didn't seem to work until the end of the boot process.

In the case of the Mini, I'd suspect that once you hit the reset button, the power button would work normally until the reboot was completed.

Regards,
David
