Reimporting the same directory

Hi Kovid,
I have the following strange behaviour:

I have added a direcotory full of books to my library. AT the end of the import process the "duplicates" windows pop-ups and I select to add all the duplicated books. Then I reimport again the whole directory. They should all be duplicates. Now I DESELECT all books and press OK. No new entries should be added but SURPRISE, there are 1 to 10 books added.

Calibre 1.1.0 here.

I had the behavior even before the database engine change.

A last note: I select all the books inside the directory with SHIFT+MOUSEBUTTON

I am still investigating on this issue.

Until now I have discovered that each time I add the same books 5 to 20 books are added even if I have deselected all duplicates and pressed OK.
The interesting thing is that many added books have the ISBN as tittle, as if the internal tittle tag has not been readed.
Some, instead, have full name but I have not found the corresponding ISBN as tittle but maybe I have not searched so far.

It sounds like some of the books are not having their metadata read. Again try running in debug mode, that should give more info.

I am reimporting again discarding all duplicates. Where do I put the debug log ?
