1.1.0 - Check Library Error

I am receiving the following error when trying to check the library on a portable version within a dropbox folder:

calibre, version 1.1.0
ERROR: Failed: Database integrity check failed, click Show details for details.

Traceback (most recent call last):

File "site-packages\calibre\db\cache.py", line 56, in ans
File "site-packages\calibre\db\cache.py", line 1710, in dump_and_restore

File "site-packages\calibre\db\backend.py", line 287, in execute
File "c:\cygwin\home\kovid\sw\build\apsw-3.7.17-r1\src\cursor.c", line 231, in resetcursor
ConstraintError: ConstraintError: column key is not unique

Is there something on my system I need to check/change that could correct this?

It indicates a problem in your database.

First backup the metadata.db file from your calibre library folder. Then open a command prompt, change to the calibre library folder and run

calibre-debug --reinitialize-db metadata.db

That might be able to auto-fix your database.

The other alternative is to rebuild the database by clicking the calibre button on the toolbar and choosing Library maintenance->Restore database
