Kobo Mini imported books (TXT,RTF,etc) always show zero percent read?

Hello all

Hope this wasn't answered already (i did search) but i found an interesting phenomenon on the Kobo Mini

for imported books (like in TXT,RTF), the meter always reads "0% read" and if i try to change the font or the line spacing.... it goes back to the beginning no matter where i am at!! A very annoying problem and would have been a deal breaker had i known about it

Has anyone else had this problem? is this a bug? Has anyone found a way to work around this?

A few weeks ago I put a txt file on my Kobo Glo and found that it always shows zero percent read, even when I'm half way through it.

I don't often read txt files, I normally convert them to an epub, but I can confirm that the problem exists on the Glo with the latest 2.8.1 firmware.
