"Sending to device" tamplate is not working
Hi everyone!
I'm using the newest Calibre and I wanted to change the default sending-to-device template. I changed the default path to: Code:
!{author_sort}/{title}/{authors} - {title} (Kindle) Z:\documents\!Doe, John\The Greatest Book\John Doe - The Greatest Book.azw3 I saved my settings, but when I'm sending my ebook to device, Calibre remembers the old template, and it's using default settings: Code:
{author_sort}/{title} - {authors} (Kindle) Z:\documents\Doe, John\The Greatest Book - John Doe.azw3 What's wrong? Could you help me with my issue? I'm sure I'm changing the "sending" template, NOT the "save on HD" template... ![]() Last edited by MBHunter; 12-07-2013 at 10:30 AM. |

Well... it doesn't matter, thou. I tried with "!" and without it - still not working as I want.

I changed save-on-HD template, and it works just like I want it to work:
C:\folder\!Doe, John\The Greatest Book\John Doe - The Greatest Book.azw3 But send-to-device template is always default: Z:\documents\Doe, John\The Greatest Book - John Doe.azw3 Weird... |

It might be worth checking the device plugin configuration in case it has its own template.

Just to reiterate, ! * /, and I believe a couple of other characters are NOT allowed to be part of a file or folder name, these are special characters at least in windows.
