How do I combine files?

I have a book that was issued in 3 separate html files. I still have those files. I used mobipocket to convert all 3. I now have 3 books in mobi form. I would like to combine those books as follows-book1, book2, and book 3, all in the same book. Is this possible?

I would convert the 3 HTML or MOBI's to EPUB and then use ePubMerge Plugin then convert merged EPUB back to MOBI.

But there maybe better ways to combine the HTML directly.

Create a simple TOC as outlined in this FAQ. Then place the TOC.html and the other three html files in the same directory (any temp location outside of the calibre library will do.) Now drag the TOC.html to add it to calibre. Calibre will add all 4 files to a zip file and add it to calibre as one book. You can now update the metadata and convert that book to the format of your choice.
