This poll needs a third option: "Pretty much the same" I give a slight edge to IOS, but the reality is that the cost of IOS devices has given me pause. Thus, I use Android devices as much as IOS ones. |

A fourth option: neither. I find both have uses but neither is all that special as an OS. |

I have an iPad but the little I've played with Android has me favouring that. Whilst I like how iOS works, I prefer the extra freedom android gives you.

I prefer having the thread title include something about the topic, especially if it's just an either/or question, so I'm being stubborn and not answering your poll.

I would like to know, whether we should spend time fixing everything (eBooks and Apps) for iOS or should we start focusing more on Android? (hence the two options ONLY ...) But thanks for the feedback so far! |

Both are popular systems. You should be supporting both.

Android Android has inexpensive hardware options; iOS doesn't. |

Android of course. Huge choice of hardware, equal or better functionality, open standards, no walled garden. An absolute no-brainer.

I have used iOS extensively for several years. I have recently switched to an HTC One, my first Android phone. I would say they both are excellent platforms.

Then you should look at market share. Android is the clear winner number wise but not so much (app) revenue wise.
