Converting HTMLZ to pdf
Hi,
I've been having trouble converting a kindle book to a pdf file that's more annotateable. I started with a .azw topaz file, which I used the DeDrm program to convert to a HTMLZ file. This file works fine in Calibre, and I've converted this file to an epub without problems. However, when I try to convert this file to a pdf, I get a pdf with empty boxes instead of figures. Can anyone give me suggestions for how I might do this conversion or how I might annotate an epub (e.g., draw in it)? Thanks for your help, Clark |

Also, on a related note, in a pdf the bookmarks and the table of content entries are the same and editable. My impression is that in an epub the bookmarks are separate from the table of contents and one can only easily edit the bookmarks. Also, the bookmarks can only be a single level and cannot be arranged into multiple levels of hierarchy. Are these impressions correct?
Thanks for your help, Clark |
