Can't convert?

Don't know what got broken, but i keep getting the following error when i try to convert:

calibre, version 0.9.39

Try doing an uninstall and then a re-install that error indicates the tweaks file in your install is corrupted.

Weird. After messing around with my calibre portable (reinstalling, copying around some settings, ...) i got this to work.

Then I changed PCs and it stopped working again. I just got a new portable installation in a different location and that one does not work either, the created tweaks.py does not contain this key... weird...

Okay, solved it. It was a weird interaction with windows. For some reason windows still set the calibre_config_from variable even though I unset it, and this confused calibre. now it works
