i tried with win32diskimager (0.8, last version available) but it doesn't work as it recognizes my sd card bigger than 2gb... thanks

You SHOULD be aware that many of the recent Kobos actually DO come with a 4GB card, but it is partitioned to only use 2GB. So a tool like win32diskimager that does an image backup WILL see the entire 4GB and not the 2GB you expect

trying and trying... the sd coming with the kobo, under windows, has wrong size... i did the image with puppy linux and pudd, easy for people not knowing linux (then i'll try other distro)... copied the image on another sd, worked...and the new sd has the right dimension under windows too

ps: changing the sd with a fastest one boosted my kobo
