Where did the Light Indicator Bar go?
I picked up my Kobo this week after a couple months of not using it. Updated to the latest software 2.8.1 and now noticed I no longer have the choice of clear vs black light indicator bar. I miss my black bar!

Any chance it will come back in a future release? So sad!

It disappeared in the 2.6.1 update when the Glo first started getting the Aura tiled interface.

I wish they would bring it back, too. I miss it. Yes, the Aura doesn't seem to need it, in that it doesn't have the uneven lighting at the bottom of the screen; presumably, future Kobos won't need it, too. So, I don't mind if the default is off -- but I do wish they'd bring it back for us Glo users.

I'm missing this too, although the fact that the Aura doesn't need it sort of explains everything.
