List of Calibre CSS defaults?
When a book format is really messed-up, I use the "Tweak Book" option. This explodes the book into HTML files I can edit. In these files are tags that refer to Calibre default (or standard) CSS's. Rather than experiment with what these tags do, is there a list or database or reference that shows those underlying styles?
I have sure looked, but I can't find it. Thanks. |

If I'm not mistaken there should be a stylesheet.css file within EPUBs. That exact file name is not mandatory, so the name might change; the extension will remain .css though.
I'm not sure if Tweak Book allows editing the css or if you would have to edit it through some other means (like Sigil). |

First:
There is NO 'default' Calibre CSS. Each and every one is custom crafted (analyzed) to the source document. Although, seeing a common .calibre { (the body style) is not unusual as this was a result of YOUR conversion settings.4 Second: Yes, you can edit ANY file opened with 'Tweak' as long as you know what the consequences of the change can reap ![]() ![]() ![]() |
