Import and categorise
Hi
I'm a bit of a Calibre noob -- I'm sure most of you know heaps more than I do. I can't seem to find out how to import a batch of books and categorise them at the same time. My library contains quite a few books already, and I want to import a bunch of kids books, but don't want them to get mixed up with what's there already. To try to categorise/tag them after import would be too late because how do I find all those in the last import? thanks! |

I tag them with the tag working when they are added to my library. When I have finished with metadata, cover, etc... I remove the working tag. To add a tag on import go to Preferences - Adding books - fill in the Tags to apply when adding a book field.
