13.3" Ultrabooks, Full HD vs 1600x900 ?
I am trying to decide between 2 IPS Ultrabooks to be used for PDF reading
O has 13" 1920x1080 the other 13" 1600x900ne Now I was wondering, how noticeable is the pixel density when using Adobe Acrobat ? Will the FHD screen provide a better text viewing, considering both panels are the same(IPS) ? Or is the eye not sharp enough to even benefit from it. How does that work ? Thanks ! |

I suggest going to the store to try them. It is difficult to say what will look better because not all monitors are the same even given the same resolution. I would be tempted to go with the higher resolution and dial it down a bit if needed.
As far as Adobe Acrobat, it is going to depend on how the PDF file was created more than the Acrobat program itself. Crappy compression upfront means a crappy PDF viewing experience no matter how good the display you are using is. |
