Cheap reader

Hello. Sorry for possible repost, I did not find topic, which could exactly meet my requirements.

I am looking for some reader, because I am tired of reading books from my PC screen. And, I am looking for some not expensive reader, ideally under 40 or 45 euros.
I need only some basic functionality, capability to read PDF files, connectivity with computer (perhaps USB) and I would appreciate rechargeable battery.

Could you advise me, please?

Do you have a dealbreaker reason to need to read PDF files? That's not really a basic functionality of a cheap e-ink reader; to read PDFs well you really need a tablet (or possibly a large e-ink reader, and none of them come cheap).

I really wish the world would wake up to the fact that PDF is not an ebook format.

If your pdf's are average sized books (page width under 16-17 cm or 6 inch) then you can buy Kindle (keyboard or touch) and install kindlepdfviewer thereon for page cropping and reading in landscape mode, or use Reflow function for A4 pdf's or k2pdfopt application.

If majority of your pdf's are in A4 format then buying used Kindle DX is better option, with kindlepdfviewer installed too, but used Kindle Dx White is usually over 100 $ and graphite 200 $.

Sony Prs T1 is also good for pdf's under 6-7 inch, using auto crop function + fit-to-landscape-width, or using k2pdfopt application or Acrobat Reader to print those pdf's in tile mode for landscape size beforehand.
