annotations

When i make annotation on my kobo and want to see them in the calibre epub reader it did not work untill now..

I tried using the fetching function (experimental) but this does not seem to work. I am not able to see the annotations from my kobo in the epub reader of calibre..

I have to store my annotations but loose them all the time after (re)storing my books from and to the kobo. So how do i store them?

I'm afraid I have no solution for you, except to say that footnotes which work very well on my Sony do not work on my Kobo; either they don't work at all or they go to the wrong endnote and won't return.

So it's not just you.

P.S. Welcome to the forum.

P.P.S. I'd be very grateful if someone could post HTML markup for footnotes which works on a Kobo.

A week or so ago, someone posted a sample for doing a quiz or flashcard. I think this had what you are looking for. But, it had to be loaded as a kepub.

Thanks, David. I'm looking for markup which will work across readers.

I am not sure I understand correctly your needs, but I wrote a Python script to export annotations and highlights from KoboReader.sqlite to CSV file (so you can import them in a spreadsheet or store the file on your PC). You can download it here:
