Does this plan make sense?
I've got one novel up on Amazon, and am putting the edits in on another.
My current plan is to get the second novel and a short story collection out in the next two months, by which time I should have a short novel ready to go. So basically I should be able to release a title a month for the next three months, and then take a bit of a break and get a sequel for one of the three novels out. Does that make sense to the rest of you? |

Everything I've read on That Other Forum indicates that the more books you have out, the better your visibility is. If you can get your 3 books out in a few months without sacrificing quality, go for it.

Well, second novel is already draft complete and has been edited a couple of times. I'm just doing another pass and then a quick restructure. (I love drag & drop for scenes).
Then I can put the short fiction together into an anthology, and that's maybe 2-3 days work. It'll be 5-6 stories that I've already written so I can just package it. In the meantime, I edited an anthology, and my name's on that and 6 short stories (5 free) already. So once I get my three out, I'll have at least 10 listings.... |

If you have multiple things ready to publish then I think a staged released is a good idea. Each release is an excuse to tell the world about it, which gives additional visibility to those things that went before. A month between each is probably about right. I wouldn't go less, you may want to go more to give you more time to write the sequel.

Yeah, pretty much echo everyone. The more books the better, and staggering the releases to expend promotional period out as much as possible.
