Default Dictionary is missing

I had a problem a week or so ago which I believe was caused by a Windows Update going wrong. My W3C CSS validation through Sigil was not working.

I did a System Restore and this solved the Sigil W3C validation issue.

However, I now notice that my default dictionary seems to be missing because spellcheck is not working. i.e. none of the words are underlined in red.

When I look in preferences there are only the words I have added to the default dictionary. The size of the Dictionary is only 2kb.

Can I add the default dictionary and, if so, where can I find it? Or would it be better to re-install Sigil?

You should be OK doing that.
There is a copy where the program is INSTALLED (on XP it is 'Program Files\Sigil'): hunspell_dictionaries.
IIRC be sure to copy the pairs (dic,aff) of the ones you want if there is a mate

I have windows 7 64 bit.
I reinstalled Sigil but still didn't have any dictionaries. I went to the preferences section and added them successfully.

Note, I had tried to add them in the preferences section previously but there were no dictionaries to add so it seems that sigil had lost the path that pointed to them.
