Free Financial Times Press books on Amazon/Barnes & Noble

I was interested in this week's FT Press Deal of the Week: Saving for Retirement by Gail Marks-Jarvis, so I figured I'd go to Amazon to see what the reviews looked like. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the Kindle version is free right now... free is better than $10, right?

Anyway, I noticed several of FT Press's books are free right now on Amazon, so I figured I'd post some links in case anyone else is interested in any of them. I've seen a few other free FT Press ones posted on here from time to time. I'm not sure what the occasion is, but here they are. Looks like they're also free in the UK, but not Canada. YMMV.

Saving for Retirement (Without Living Like a Pauper or Winning the Lottery) Updated and Revised by Gail Marks-Jarvis (Aug 6, 2012)
Power Verbs for Presenters: Hundreds of Verbs and Phrases to Pump Up Your Speeches and Presentations by Michael Lawrence Faulkner and Michelle Faulkner-Lunsford (Feb 19, 2013)
The Truth About Best Branding Practices (Collection) by Michael Solomon, William Kane, Brian D. Till and Donna Heckler (Nov 3, 2010)
Pictures of the Mind: What the New Neuroscience Tells Us About Who We Are (FT Press Science) by Miriam Boleyn-Fitzgerald
The Truth About Getting the Best from People (2nd Edition) by Martha I. Finney (Dec 7, 2012)
ETF Trading and Investing Strategies (Collection) by Marvin Appel, Tom Lydon and Leslie N. Masonson (Dec 30, 2011)

Looks like FT Press may be cycling through and giving a few away. I'm not sure how often these change, but the current free selection is:

Disrupt: Think the Unthinkable to Spark Transformation in Your Business by Luke Williams (Dec 8, 2010)
FranklinCovey Style Guide: For Business and Technical Communication (5th Edition) by Stephen R. Covey (Jun 7, 2012)
Extreme Money: Masters of the Universe and the Cult of Risk by Satyajit Das (Aug 4, 2011)
Marketing Strategy from the Masters (Collection) by PHILIP KOTLER, Paul W. Farris, Neil T. Bendle and Phillip E. Pfeifer (Oct 19, 2010)
The Truth About Perfecting Your Presentation Skills (Collection) by Michael Solomon, James O'Rourke, Natalie Canavor and Claire Meirowitz (Nov 3, 2010)
Making Sense of People: Decoding the Mysteries of Personality (FT Press Science) by Samuel Barondes (Jun 21, 2011)

I wish I'd known that last time. EPUB is my preferred format.

B&N almost always matches the FT Press titles (not always, most nearly all the time; now and then B&N even has one that Kindle does not).

I've been buying them directly from FTPress when they run a deal of the week on one I like. The collections are almost always only available as a watermarked PDF, so getting a collection from B&N in EPUB format is a plus.

These should probably be merged with the non-fiction thread:
