House of Steel by David Weber is available at Baen Books for fans of Honor Harrington.

My apologies for the spam if someone has already posted this news.

I hate it when they do this to me. I just took another look. It's not an Honor Harrington novel, it's just another Honorverse collection.

There's a new novella in the collection. I have it, but haven't read it yet.

It's a decent read.
I WILL BUILD A HOUSE OF STEEL sheds light on the roots of the Manticore Naval build up leading up to ON BASILISK STATION.
The rest of the book is a fairly detailed look at the major ship classes in the Havenite Wars.

It's a fan service volume.

Considering what anime fans seem to consider "sexy" they seem headed for disappointment. 6ft-plus of genetic-engineered heavy-world muscle honed with military and martial arts training isn't going to match your typical anime heroine, whatever her archetype.

Different kinds of fans prefer different kinds of service.

(And, anybody in this thread that hasn't run by the Fifth Imperium for the promo CDs... What are you waiting for? Ringo and Taylor's VORPAL BLADE is there. As well as a good chunk of Honorverse material.)
