Thanks, I searched this forum and found my answer!
I restored my library to Feb 6, from a backup I had done. I wanted to add the books I had gotten since Feb 6. Well, I used the copy to library rather than the add books. So it just added the dublicates. Now, I can just restore another library, and do it right, but is there a way to highlight and eliminate duplicates other than one by one? I should have a library of 6000 books, but I have a library of 12000.
EDIT: I searched Calibre and Find Duplicates was suggested to someone just a few months ago. I installed that and will see how it works! Thanks Last edited by Sydney's Mom; 05-02-2013 at 05:12 PM. Reason: Problem Solved |

Use the find duplicates plugin, i use binary compare and it can be configured to automatically remove duplicates, although i dont use that feature.
