Extension in Metadata Tags

Dear Kovid, I am delighted to see such a wonderful content management system which is very user friendly. Is there any possiblity of expanding the metadata tags that is now part of the latest version. OR is there any possibility of add/delete option in the metadata file which can be used by us to add/ delete the metadata tags of our choice and the same is useful for data search. Majumdar

I am not sure I understand your question? Calibre allows any metadata tag that you want to be used, and you can create new ones at will.

@smajumdar - in Edit Metadata there is a button to the left of the Tags field, click it and you will get a dialogue that allows you to create new tags, add & remove tags to/from a book etc.

You can also just type what you want in the Tags field, each comma separated token will be a tag, and you can drag a book to a Tag in the Tag browser to add the Tag to a book.
