Upgrading form x36 to x64 ¿anything to consider before deleting calibre x32?

Hi!

I run a W7 x64 implementation and, until today, I hadn't realized that there actually was a x64 version of Calibre going around.

So I installed it and it works like a charm (usually my system froze for about 10 seconds while Calibre loaded, now that's gone ), but I want to uninstall the x32 bits version, but I'm afraid I might break something and I've invested a lot of time organizing my library just to blow it up due to careless uninstalling.

Is there anything I should keep in mind or do before uninstalling the x32 bits version from my system?

Nothing special to-do at all. Just uninstall the 32 bit version and all should be fine.

So, after upgrading Calibre to x64 bits, now I can't set ebook-viewer.exe as the default ebook reader (I've tried only with epubs, since I use other software for PDFs and DjVu, and I don't use .mobi files).

So, I'll uninstall, clean the registry and reinstall as indicated in this post:
https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=123664

Again, I wouldn't like to lose my classifying work on my library, so can I be certain that the tags I've made and the metadata I've created for my books on Calibre won't be deleted in the process? I'm quite confident that I won't lose the metadata, but tags and stuff that seems to work only with calibre might be affected.

What issues should I expect and what measures can I take to avoid problems here?
