Problems with Automatic Adding of books

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but for some reason, the books I put in the watch folder for automatic adding, do not add. If they do, they do not erase.

The main problem right now is they don't want to add at all.

Is there a size limit on the library in calibre?

Any help is appreciated.

Is the watch folder on a local filsystem? There may be problems if it is on a networked filsystem.

Is the folder being concurrently being accessed by more than 1 user (you) at the same time?

Oh, Are the files marked Read Only

Well........Thank you theducks. The files WERE read only. I took off the read only, restarted the program....and voila....they added.

Calibre probably ignores those as the standard operation requires the files be deleted from the folder (or it would just keep loop adding

forever ).
