Blank page and asterisk

Sorry if this topic is not for here, but Im new.

So I've scanned a book and I want to upload it on my iPhone. I've done it, but Im seeing that I want to do some things that I dont know how. I want to know how to add an empty page or how to add 1-2 lines of text on a seperate page. The other thing Im asking is the asterisk ( * ) - when there's an explanation of a word (usually at the end of a page) but I want to add it at the end of the book - on a seperate page with an arrow which will return to the page, where the word is. Please help me - or show me any information that will help me - thanks.
