Amazon New Release Alerts

This appears to be only on Amazon.com so far. On the right side of the author page is an option to sign up for email notification of new releases by the author.

Example:

I get that information from FictFact on authors that I follow. I hope that will not be the next domino to fall with Amazon's takeover of the world.

Nevertheless it is a pretty good idea.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention! I use (and love!) FictFact but it only works for series (as far as I'm aware). This notification feature will help me track my favorite authors who write standalone books.

I hope they bring this to the UK site soon. I contacted them a few months ago to suggest that feature, though somehow I doubt that they acted just on my feedback (and if they did, they could have given me a gift voucher or something

)

Finally! To me that is the most obvious feature there is, it's shocking it was absent for so long.

YW. I would imagine they will have it on their other sites eventually.

I just noticed it by accident, as usual. I've never understood why they don't have some kind of email letter for new features.

I just went to Amazon, and had a popup show up about a new release (June 25) coming soon. Kinda cool.

And last time I went, there was a popup saying that they had new decks of Cards Against Humanity actually in stock. You betcha I ordered them, and all the expansion decks, as well.
