Exclamation After updating my validation report shows contradictory messages
After validation, I am receiving these two messages for 5 images files. Both messages appear for each of the files.

This OPS document is reachable but not present in the OPF <manifest or spine>. "Reachable" means that a reference of some kind that points to this resource exists in the epub.
I looked over the <manifest> and the files are listed there. And the files are referenced on the html files where they should be.

Where else can I look?. The issue appeared after I upgraded to 0.7.1. I reverted to 0.7.0 and the messages still appear (I am using a Macbook with OS X 10.8.2)

Are you using a mixed case? So, upper- and lowercase? The stuff is case-sensitive.

Also look out for %20 that show as spaces but cause validation problems and any spaces at all in file names.

As a general rule it's best not to have any spaces or non-ASCII characters in your filenames as they can cause your epub to fail EpubCheck.
